Puppy Grooming in

I understand that your puppy’s very first grooming experience can feel a little daunting — for both you and your pup.
My aim is to make every first visit a calm, gentle, and positive introduction to grooming, helping your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and relaxed salon visitor for years to come.
EMOTIONAL CARE
I work slowly and gently, allowing puppies time to settle, explore their surroundings, sniff the equipment, and take breaks whenever needed — with plenty of cuddles and reassurance along the way.

This session is slighty shorter than the other two, so as to not overwhelm your puppy.

All dogs must be introduced before 6 months of age.
All dogs must be fully vaccinated.
Grooming appointments must be fulfilled within 8 months of age.

For Their First Groom
At Cockapoo Cottage & Friends, I offer a carefully designed puppy introduction package, created to make your puppy’s first
grooming experience as positive and stress-free as possible.
While bringing your puppy for their first groom is an exciting milestone, a little preparation at home can make a huge difference in helping them feel relaxed and confident during their visit.
When we first bring home a puppy, we naturally focus on basic training such as sit, stay, and recall. However, preparing your puppy to feel comfortable being handled, brushed, bathed, and having their paws touched is just as important — especially for breeds that require regular grooming throughout their lives.
Like people, every dog has their own personality. Some puppies immediately love being pampered, while others may need a little more patience, reassurance, and time to build confidence. My role is to make grooming a positive and enjoyable experience, never rushed or overwhelming.
With gentle handling, kindness, and calm one-to-one care, I help puppies build trust and confidence so they can learn that grooming is a safe, happy, and rewarding experience.
